Lusine Khachatryan has received numerous awards and recognition during her artistic development, the first being at the age of nine in the "New Names" Music Festival in Armenia, her birthplace.
In Germany she won first place consistently in the state sponsored "Jugend Musiziert" (Young Musicians) competitions for the years 1994, 1996, 1999 and 2001.
Lusine Khachatryan is also a prizewinner in the 2003 International Piano Competition in "Cittą di Ostra" and "Cittą di Marsala", in Italy.
In 2009 she received third prize in the 2nd European Piano Competition in Normandy, Ouistreham and Le Havre, France.
